Welcome to the Oklahoma Red Angus Association. We are dedicated to promoting the Red Angus breed in Oklahoma and across the United States through livestock shows, industry events, association sales and educational events.
We hope this site will provide you with information and contacts for members of our association. Please contact us with any questions or to get involved.
If you would like a directory, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll be happy to send one to you.
On July 21-22, the OCA will hold their 64th Annual Convention & Trade Show in Norman, Oklahoma. This two-day event will feature informative speakers, a large trade show, educational opportunities and a banquet to recognize outstanding members and their accomplishments. The OCJA and OCWA will hold their annual conventions in coordination, making it a great family event.
The Oklahoma Red Angus Association is excited to have a booth at this event where we will pass out membership directories and applications, and maybe even talk a little Red Angus! If you would like to represent OKRAA by volunteering at our booth, please contact OKRAA President: Eric Lynch at (405) 203-8353, or OKRAA Vice President: Peter Jeffrey at (405) 262-1894.
July 21 – Noon to 6:00 p.m.
July 22 – All day
Congratulations members of the Oklahoma Red Angus Association (“OKRAA”)! On March 11, 2017 the Board met and approved to have a Bull Performance Test & Sale and a Female Sale for the spring of 2018. Here is your opportunity to be part of something great for the beef industry. Bull test will be open to all OKRAA members beginning the fall of 2017. The female sale will also be open to all OKRAA members in the spring of 2018.
To make these two events successful, guidelines and requirements are a must! If you are interested in serving on a committee to develop and oversee activities, please contact Pete Jeffrey at email@example.com or any officer or board director. We are asking for your input and now is the time. Markets are good and Red Angus cattle are in high demand.
Update: Our second FCCP and red angus influenced feeder calf sale March 16,2017 was a success. Thanks to all who sent and sold red angus and red angus influenced cattle. A special thanks to David Guthrie for his time, efforts, and work in overseeing this sale at the Woodward sale barn.
